Rest and Restore Retreat In Rome 1-5th April 2019.
Bookings close at the end of January. Message now to secure your place.
Single en-suite room, full board, authentic Italian food and wine, peaceful and beautiful location, 20 miles from Rome, transfer from Ciampino Airport, bar, our own private sitting room, optional daily meditations and reflective discussions, one to one session with an integrative coach, small, supportive group, optional trip to Rome. Option to extend to 7 days.
Last year I held a retreat here, the monastery is on the shores of Lake Albano, South East of Rome. We were lovingly and attentively cared for by the team and the full board meals, featuring local cuisine and wine were sumptuous.
We were blessed with wonderful weather – hot in the sun, but cool in the shade, that allowed us to take some long walks around the lake to Albano and Castel Gandolfo and we managed a day sightseeing in Rome which, of course, involved more eating!!
Each morning and evening we met for meditation, reflection, sharing and mindfulness teachings.
I think it is fair to say that everyone returned rested, with a deeper and more compassionate understanding of themselves, fresh insight into their lives and relationships, clarity on changes they want to make in order to live more congruently …….and a few pounds heavier!!
Feedback from Sue was ”I am rested, expanded, deepened and hopeful”
And from Hazel: ”Such deeply insightful and thoughtful meditations led in a very non-threatening way. I have grown more solid in my sense of who I am and my life’s purpose”
We all agreed that we would like to go back. So I have booked a 5 day retreat next spring: 1st – 5th April with the option of extending this to a week: 30th March – 7th April.
You can secure your place by transferring a deposit of £50 before September 1st. Pleaseemail me for an invoice. the balance of £550 is due by the end of January 2019. You can extend your visit by a day either end for £120 – please let me know if this is the case.
Ryanair flies to Ciampino so flights are really cheap and your fee includes airport transfer. You can actually stay for the entire retreat without spending any more money at all. I will organise an optional day in Rome and we can walk round to Albino village for a meal and of course there will be a cost involved in these activities, but we share taxi to the station so it will not be much.
Hope you are tempted!
