The Questioning Thoughts Exercise is one of the Focussed Mindfulness tools. It takes you directly to a state of calmness, kindness and confidence. This is an introductory workshop – no previous experience of mindfulness or The Focussed Mindfulness Method is expected.

WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

The Questioning Thought exercise is one of the Focussed Mindfulness tools. It offers freedom from unconscious patterns that drive anger, fear, shame, blame, avoidance, despondency and disassociation. In effect it supports you to deal with past pain so the memories no longer upset you, leaving you more present, empowered, flexible and calm.

It is a tool you can use whenever you feel triggered to bring you back to a state of mindful awareness so you can chose the wise way to respond.

WHAT WILL IT COVER?

Join us for an online workshop where you will see real life demonstrations of the Questioning Thoughts Exercise followed by some teaching on the theory of why it works and is so powerful. You will then have the chance to experience the tool for yourself both as a ‘client’ and, if you feel confident, as a practitioner.

You will explore your unconscious and habitual responses and how this affects you, other people and how you respond to life’s challenges. It quickly and directly uncovers a fundamental belief you are holding and how this makes you feel. Through directed exploration you move to a more mindful perspective of yourself, a felt sense of spaciousness and lightness and a recognition that you have the option of being free to respond to challenges in a mindful way.

Regular practice of the exercise brings a lasting change in physical wellbeing, mental health and your ability to remain calm and manifest a more loving life.

This will be a supportive and powerful workshop, you can simply observe or get involved by experiencing the exercise for yourself and, with a script, begin using it to support others.
